Valentina Ilieva has a Master’s degree in Law from the University of National and World Economy. Lawyer with knowledge in the field of administrative law, structural funds of the European Union, expertise in the field of public procurement.
She was Secretary General of the Agency for Sustainable Energy Development, where she carried out the administrative management of the agency, by coordinating and controlling the functioning of the general and specialized administration for strict compliance with regulations and legal orders of public authorities.
She held the position of State Expert in the Preliminary Control Department, EU Environmental Funds Directorate, Ministry of Environment and Water. She was Head of the Administrative and Legal Services Department and acting Secretary General of the Executive Environment Agency of Bulgaria.
She has over 23 years of practical professional experience. She has experience in Operational Program “Environment”, OP “Innovation and Competitiveness”, OP “Good Governance”, OP “Administrative Capacity” and others.
